Nature's Allure

The gentle breeze that seems to linger
As if to caress your cheek with unseen finger
And surely whispers softly in your ear
"Tis I! Tis I! Tis I my darling dear!"

The savory smell of fresh brewed coffee
That wafts from cafe alluringly
As if the doors were only open
To entice your wandering step within

The warbling melody outside your window
That the feathered prince doth bestow
As if he had nothing else to do
But to serenade just for you

The sublime beauty of a nature scene
So majestic, so perfectly pristine
As if nature for a moment took pause
That it might for you a photograph emboss

That extra delicious first gooey nibble
Of a cookie just from the oven's griddle
As if every possible ounce of yummy
Were put there just to please your tummy

These things that your senses so enthrall
Are but the ever-present, unending call
Of my love for you so strong, so pure
It manifests itself in nature's allure
